1. Definitions

• "User," "you" means anyone using SharePix.
• "Album" means a collection of photos and videos created and shared via SharePix.
• "Album creator" means the User who created a given Album, or to whom ownership of the Album has since been transferred.
• "Content" includes photos, videos, captions, comments, reactions, metadata and any other user-generated upload.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use SharePix as permitted by these Terms. We retain all intellectual property rights in the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the App without permission.

3. Your Account

• SharePix creates an account for you when you first open the App. There is no username or password.
• You may link an email address so that you can recover your account on another device. An email address can belong to only one SharePix account.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the display name you choose.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use SharePix.

4. Your Content

• You keep ownership of your photos and videos.
• By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display that Content strictly as needed to provide the Service to you and to the members of the Album you uploaded it to. This licence ends when you delete the Content.
• We do not use your Content to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not sell it or license it to third parties.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload the Content and to share it with the people in the Album.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SharePix for:

• Uploading unlawful, abusive or infringing Content, or content sexualising minors
• Harassment, spam, or interfering with anyone else's use of the Service
• Automated scraping, or circumventing storage quotas or security controls

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report any photo or comment directly in the app (open it and choose Report) or email trustandsafety@sharepix.app; reported content may be removed and the accounts responsible suspended or terminated. We may remove Content or suspend access where these Terms are broken.

6. Albums, Invites and Contributors

• Any member of an Album may create invite links to it, unless the Album's creator has set that member to view only. Only the Album's creator can remove people from an Album or change what a member may do in it.
• Invite links expire after 48 hours. Links created by the Album's creator can be used at most 10 times; links created by other members, at most 3 times, with one live link per member per Album at a time. The Album's creator can revoke any link at any time; other members can revoke the links they created. Links created by someone who leaves or is removed from an Album stop working.
• Anyone who joins an Album may add their own Content to it, and may delete Content they uploaded. A member the Album's creator has set to view only may still view, react and comment, but may not add Content or create invite links; the setting can be reversed by the creator at any time and does not remove Content the member already added. The Album creator may delete any Content in their Album.
• The Album's creator may transfer ownership of the Album to another member. The new creator takes over management of the Album, and from the moment of transfer its storage counts against the new creator's allowance. A creator whose Album has other members chooses a new owner as part of leaving it.
• Deleting an Album deletes everything inside it, including Content other people contributed. Leaving an Album removes it from your account only; the Album continues for its remaining members.

7. Storage, Purchases and Refunds

• Every account receives a free storage allowance. Additional storage packs are optional one-time purchases — there are no subscriptions and nothing auto-renews.
• Storage is counted against the Album creator's allowance: everything uploaded to an Album, by anyone, uses the creator's storage. If ownership of an Album is transferred, the Album's storage counts against the new creator's allowance from then on.
• We may refuse uploads that would exceed an account's storage allowance. Existing Content is never deleted because an account is full.
• Purchases are processed by the App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us; where a purchase is refunded, the corresponding storage is removed from the account.
• Free bonus storage, such as referral credit, is promotional, has no cash value, and may be changed or withdrawn for future awards.
• We may change pricing for future purchases at any time. Packs already bought are unaffected.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Profile > Delete Account. Deletion is scheduled for a date 14 days later, shown to you when you confirm: until that date your account keeps working, you can download your Content, and you can cancel the deletion from the app.
• Deleting your account forfeits any unused purchased storage, which is not refundable by us.
• We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
• On the scheduled date your account and Content are removed from the Service and erased from our servers within 30 days.
• Content you added to another member's Album remains part of that Album when you leave the Album or delete your account, unless you remove it yourself first or choose to remove it in the deletion flow.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• SharePix is provided "AS IS," without warranties of any kind.
• We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free service.
• SharePix is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, loss of data, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Intellectual Property

• All trademarks, logos and rights in the App and brand belong to Coral Orca Limited.
• You may not use our intellectual property without written permission.
• You keep the intellectual property rights in the Content you upload.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which you can read in Settings > Legal in the app or at sharepix.app/privacy. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR and the CCPA.

For users in the EU and UK:

• You have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data.
• We process on lawful bases such as consent, performance of our contract with you, and legitimate interest.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

• Unless local law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
• You and SharePix agree to try informal resolution first, followed by binding arbitration or small claims court, unless prohibited by law.
• Consumers in the EU and UK keep the right to bring proceedings in their home courts and to use local consumer dispute mechanisms.

13. Changes to These Terms

• We may revise these Terms; the effective date at the top tells you which version applies.
• Significant changes will be communicated in the app or on the website, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
